Description:

This course enables students to enhance their understanding of concepts in biology, chemistry, and physics, and of the interrelationships between science, technology, society, and the environment. Students are also given opportunities to further develop their scientific investigation skills. Students will plan and conduct investigations and develop their understanding of scientific theories related to the connections between cells and systems in animals and plants; chemical reactions, with a particular focus on acid/base reactions; forces that affect climate and climate change; and the interaction of light and matter.

Ms. Amanda Peer

毕业于圭尔夫大学生物科学，教育学硕士，OCT。14年公立高中教学经验，现荷顿区公校在职科学老师，授课公立高中天才班科学课，11-12年级生物，Pre IB科学课程。

Amanda (OCT) has been teaching secondary science including senior biology for 13 years locally. Amanda is a Special Education Specialist and has worked extensively with Gifted students and those with diverse identified learning needs.
Amanda is an experienced Senior Biology teacher where she enjoys engaging learners through relevant application with medical case studies and other authentic assessment opportunities.
