课程简介：
我们枫叶国公校8年级以前的历史课是什么样的？年复一年，孩子们都在学习原住民；差不多从6或7年级开始，终于有了一些近代史内容——仅限于加国近代史。并不是说原住民或加国近代史不值得反复学，只是整个小学阶段，整整八年，教学大纲里没有为孩子们呈现一个较为完整的世界历史面貌，不得不说是加国教育的一大遗憾（乃至缺陷）。这也是为什么很多家长呼唤小渔学堂尽快把小学阶段的历史课开出来的原因。
终于，我们请到了历史学博士Gayford老师，基于《The Story of the World》这本书，引领孩子们建构世界历史知识框架。本系列为第一期，围绕第一本书14个主题的学习内容，全面了解古代史。
