Objective：


Too many young people have something to say but do not have the tools to speak in public effectively and with comfort. Sharpening communication abilities helps young people succeed in a world that demands confidence, articulation and the ability to express themselves clearly. 
 
The public speaking skills class is designed to introduce students to public speaking, presentation and communication skills. Students will have an opportunity to learn and practice fundamental public speaking skills through games, vernacular and role playing. 
 
Students will develop their public speaking skills through practice in the following areas: 
• Pronunciation 
• Voice projection 
• The ability to express oneself clearly and confidently 
• Presentation skills 
• The ability to adapt to diverse audiences 
• The ability to develop and deliver a presentation 
• The ability to perform in front of an audience 
 
The class is intended for students of all experience levels, especially students without any previous public speaking experience!
