报名要求：

这是一个文学分析讨论课，有大量的提问与发言的互动，为保证授课质量，需要学生和家长配合如下：

  1. 学生是自愿参加学习，有学习的主动性，课前必须按要求完成阅读材料。

  2. 课后写作作业可以按照学生实际情况尽可能完成，在截止日之前提交的作业老师会批改并给出评语。

  3. 报名前请联系管理员 (wechat: keenkiz01) 或者Fiona (647-299-8616) 确定适合报名的课程级别。

  4. 请假需要提前一周通知管理员或者Fiona，以便安排录课或到平行班补课。

  5. 线上课程，必须全程打开摄像头。必须尊重老师和同学。

Objective:

• Supporting ideas and citations
• critical reading and social problems.
• Learning complex reasons to social issues
• Introducing theoretical and critical reading models for analysis.
• Higher expectations of writing in terms of grammar and essay format.
• Explaining "why" and developing argumentation strategies.
• Closer analysis of the text.
• More mature content that deals with poverty and political injustices.
• More classic texts and YA Award-winning books as reading focus.
• Expectation to proofread and edit. Must follow and know basic grammar rules.
• Nonlinear discussions. Exploration of multiple theories and histories for engagement.
