Phase II is designed for students who have completed C++ Phase I or already have a basic foundation in C++
programming. This course focuses on fundamental Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) that are commonly used in CCC Junior-level problems. Students will strengthen their problem-solving skills, learn how to choose appropriate data structures, and practice solving contest-style coding problems using C++. Course Goals By the end of Phase II, students will be able to: • Understand and apply common data structures in C++ • Use arrays, vectors, strings, sets, maps, stacks, and queues effectively • Analyze simple algorithm efficiency using time complexity • Solve searching, sorting, simulation, and counting problems • Apply recursion and basic backtracking strategies • Understand graph basics and solve simple BFS/DFS problems • Approach CCC Junior problems with clear problem-solving strategies • Write cleaner, more organized, and more efficient C++ code Main Topics 1.
