She double majored in English and Criminology & Socio-legal studies, along with a minor in Gender, Identity, and Equity studies. Shortly after, she went on to complete her Masters in Education in Applied Psychology and Human Development also with the University of Toronto. In the near future Kimberly aspires to continue her professional development and growth as an educator through obtaining her Doctorate of Education. Kimberly presently works as a Secondary School Teacher with Halton District School Board. She is qualified to teach grades 7 through 12, and has additional qualifications in the following areas: Special Education, English as a Second Language and Law. Although qualified at the Secondary level, Kimberly has tutored students at the Elementary and College levels. Kimberly is dedicated to accommodating and modifying the curriculum, and determining the most effective solutions and strategies for students. She utilizes and promotes universal design and differentiated instruction to ensure that all students have equal access to the curriculum.
