“Hi, I am Ms. Li, your English teacher. You can also call me Dr. Li. It’s so wonderful to have you study with me. 

I have been teaching English since 2008, when I started my Bachelor’s program in English Education. After that, I completed my Master of Translation and Interpreting program. I came to Canada in 2015 to begin my second master’s and doctoral programs in Education, specializing in language and literacy teaching. 

I have been an English teacher for over 15 years. The courses I’ve taught include standardized test preparation, Reading, Writing, Speaking, English Pronunciation, and Listening. I’ve also taught English in international school classrooms. 

As for my teaching approaches, I would like you, my students, to initiate any knowledge construction and communications because I firmly believe that your own interests, goals, and strengths will be the most important during our learning together.
